My condolences. They find these huge spaces in our hearts that hurt so much when their short time with us ends. I still miss my lab, Dusty, after three years and recently lost one of my cats. So sad.
I'm so sorry that I've seen this just now, catching up from vacation still. He had a great life! I hope Jacques isn't too lonely. He was a great dog, and cute too! No matter how long they are a part of your life, it's always hard. Thinking of you, Jules
